Title
National newspapers generally use words associated with the newspaper industry for the title of there newspaper such as the Daily Mail, Daily Express, or The Independent. Local newspapers tend to take these names and simply put the name of their town in front of it such as the Sidmouth Herald, The Isle of Wight Gazette, and The Isle of Wight County Press. I have decided because of this that I will name my paper the I.O.W. Mail.

That sounds ok - traditional, conventional. You might want to get some feedback from target readers about the title.
